The ExionPro Rope Gouge is a training aid designed to encourage the horse to work in self-carriage by encouraging the head to lower and the neck to extend. Based on a pulley system that maintains constant tension on both sides, the gouge acts on the corners of the horse's mouth rather than the tongue and jaw for a more refined influence. Snaps on each side for easy handling. Adjustable chest strap with three D-rings toward the neck. Calf leather padded bottom strap with comfortable buckle guard. Suitable for lunging and riding. Premium leather with stainless steel hardware.
